WWOOF

Hopefully you didn’t expect me to bark or something. Actually, WWOOF-ing as it is so affectionately called, is the participation in work in exchange for room and board on organic farms throughout the world. Not only is this a perfect way to get experience living and working in a different country – but it also allows those passionate about sustainability and natural foods a means to pursue their hobbies. In a recent article about a first timers guide to WWOO-ing, the author invites us to her lessons learned and hardships survived as she decides to give it a go.

WWOOF-ing was something I considered, but have recently forewent. Not really my thing…
